What is "The laboratory of music

"The school of music" is the work of my research on the intonation of children.
It 's a book consisting of five volumes for musical activity in elementary school.

method is based on the experiences of Hungarian Zoltan Kodály.
"The school of music" is used in elementary school so in the curriculum, as well as in workshop experiences. Each volume is directed to a different class of this school segment.
As a whole is the integration of five courses: •

aimed at developing a capacity rhythmic
• another for the development of intonation skills
• third for the development of vocal skills •
quarter aimed at 'learning of traditional musical notation
• creative activities relevant to a final

These paths are stretched mainly in the field of vocal, as a privileged instrument for the internalization of the musical code.
Following the route presented in this book, at the end of the fifth class, the children acquire skills and knowledge can be summarized in a clear, detailed profile that includes complex and capabilities. In particular

• the ability to sing songs articulated by the extension of an octave (do-do 'or do-re', as appropriate), mono-and fee;
• the ability to read and perform rhythms in time 2 / 4, 3 / 4 and 4 / 4 beat and upbeat, with figures of the whole note, undermine, quarter note, eighth note, sixteenth note and quarter note values \u200b\u200band dotted eighth, in the context monodic and polyphonic;
• ability to read simple melodies singing proceeding by stepwise written in key of C major, D major, F major and G major;
• the ability to understand the structure of simple songs for children.

Children also learn a specific musical terminology, the difference between monody and polyphony, the structure of musical forms such as simple strophic forms and open or fees, and test the first examples of musical invention.
